Christmas Magic In One Of The Carolina’s Most Beautiful Botanical Gardens

One of the places I absolutely love visiting here in the Carolina’s is Daniel Stowe’s Botanical Gardens. I visited the botanical gardens over the summer and loved all of the gardens and the beautiful butterfly exhibit. In July while I was there one of the workers told me about the Christmas exhibits. I have been counting the days to go back ever since.

I love checking out light displays this time of year. It is like being sprinkled with Christmas magic. Seeing how creative folks can be with their light displays is always a treat. Whether it is in a place like Daniel Stowe that transforms plants into lights displays or someones home that is decorated. Light displays just make you feel happy.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is a garden for all seasons. The botanical garden is 110 acres of gardens. The gardens include: children’s garden, a conservatory dedicated to the display of tropical plants and orchids. The butterfly exhibit runs from May until August.

The Holidays At The Garden Exhibit runs from November 29th through December 22nd and is also open on Christmas Eve from 6 to 8 p.m.  As you walk through the gardens you will see a spectacular display of Christmas lights. You can even stop and take a break and roast yummy s’mores.

I had an absolute blast visiting Daniel Stowe and the Holiday In the Garden Exhibit. If you are ever in the Carolina’s no matter the time of year be sure to add Daniel Stowe’s Botanical gardens to your itinerary. I will definitely be adding this to my list of places to visit each Christmas season. Here is a small look inside my visit:(stop by my Instagram and view the Daniel Stowe highlight on my profile to see more)

Hopefully you have had a chance to get out and check out some Holiday displays this season in between all the busyness of shopping and planning events.

What are some of your favorite Christmas exhibits where you live?
